The house is located on a terrace and was originally of two-storey, load-bearing masonry construction. A two-storey extension was built later, and another, single-storey extension was subsequently added.
The rear extensions was modified so that the kitchen, services and toilets could be rearranged. The existing downstand beam was removed at 1st floor. The ground outside was built up in order to create an attractive terraced area.

Rise was appointed to carry out the structural design of the retaining wall, the ground bearing slab, new openings and roof. Due to the large openings at the existing ground-floor level, a portal frame was installed to guarantee the stability of the building.
